So, to bed. It's 9.45pm here. I need my sleep. It's 5.45am Saturday morning in London. We have had a busy day. After an early breakfast (I woke at 5am and listened to the birds wake up and watched it get lighter outside), we drove to the mall and got to the shops before they were open. We waited patiently, the sun already warm, and half an hour later we shopped until we almost dropped in Target, Best Buy and Ross. By 12.30 we were done. We had bought our clothes for the stay (we'd only brought hand luggage).
Back at the house and we waited for the girls to get home from school - Bella and Mils, my friend Hap's nieces. Then we headed out again to get a pedicure and manicure, followed by a trip to the beach and a restaurant overlooking the Pacific.
We had a drink and apetisers in the restaurant and then came home for a supper of salmon and mashed potatoes. We are all bushed and tomorrow we go for our 'fun run/walk' round Encinitas - setting off at 7 am. The plan is then to go out for breakfast. So, to bed.
